"Monochromatic 2023", the book featuring the top 100 photographs from the Monochromatic Photography Awards 2023, is now available. "Wallonian Road" is amongst these acclaimed images and is now presented to the world in two formats: print and digital. The printed version of the book offers a unique tactile and visual experience, allowing readers to admire every detail of the work in a 30x30cm format, printed on 100# matte paper. The digital book, an 80 MB PDF file, offers the same collection of incredible images in an accessible and portable manner.
This image was captured while on a country drive in the Wallonian region of Belgium. Not planned but upon returning along the route home James pulled over along a busy road and waited till there were no cars visable and composed to the best of his nerves hoping there were no cars speeding up behind him as he stood in the middle of the road.
