Summary

Litbop Magazine publishes two photographs of James Reade Venable in it's latest issue.

The latest issue of Litbop Magazine has featured two photos of James Reade Venable. One is of jazz-pop musician Melody Lane's hand and trumpet in a piece called 'Playing To The Flowers'. This piece was conceived while doing promo and portfolio work for Melody. Even when a client wants photos with themselves as the focus I try to capture more thoughtful, artistic images which may suit the artist as well, focusing on elements other them themselves.
The second piece 'Fabric' was taking in the winter of 2021 during the rebirth of the covid outbreak. Stuck indoors in Belgium where the house arrest was fierce I took advantage of the solitude and experimented with my Craft. This piece was a study in lighting and the Macro aspect of photography as I studied household things in a still life manner!
