In 2016, the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) reached an peace agreement with the Colombian government, bringing to a war that lasted more than 50 years.

Now, the more than 8.000 fighters will go back to their civilian lives, using their legal names and building a new life.

This portraits were made on the final days of the war, when I photographed some FARC guerrilla fighters and asked them to write their "war names" on the instant prints, documenting what would hopefully become the last days of their clandestine existence.
