The saw is a disc of high grade steel tapered from center to rim, it turns counter-clockwise as you look at it from the front, turning more than 600 times a minute. It's fifty inches in diameter and has 38 replaceable teeth. This saw blade was made by the Simonds Manufacturing Company in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
