Lambs are being born during lambing season on a sheep farm, Schapenboerderij Westerweg, on the Dutch island of Texel. They are of the Texel meat breed, which originates from the isle. 325 Texel sheep give birth to their lambs in the barn of the farm. Ewes and their lambs stay inside in groups until the young are strong enough to join their mothers outside in the meadows.
