"In addition to receiving $6,000 each, the grantees will receive mentorship for the duration of their projects from photographer Kiana Hayeri and photo editor Jennifer Pritheeva Samuel," said the Everyday project website recently.
The grant selection comitee was formed by Jennifer Samuel, photo editor at The Washington Post; John Edward Mason, Co-Director of the Holsinger Portrait Project, University of Virginia; and the photographers Kiana Hayeri, M'hammed Kilito and Yolanda Escobar Jiménez.
