In Kathmandu, where the majority of civilians walk, or ride scooters/motorbikes, having a car driver's license is an unnecessary luxury. Nonetheless, Hema has been taking intermittent driving lessons with her friend Suman. Her son, Sirsak, rides along during these lessons.
