In 2016 I left Los Angeles for the sleepy cities along the San Francisco Bay Delta. For centuries, this waterway has been an integral part of life for the communities that lie along and this project examines that relationship. Through themes of interconnectivity, these photographs are an exploration of the human relationship with the natural world and how the Delta has shaped the societies, communities, and cultures in this region.
