For the first time
The news arrived out of the blue, from that moment our life would have changed completely but we were not aware yet of the real consequences.
I have always imagined that, sooner or later, we would have been parents, maybe one day, but we didn’t think it would have happened so suddenly.
Sometimes life is full of surprises, almost unpredictable, and the unexpected news proved that nothing could be properly planned.
During the pregnancy we experienced various contradictory feelings, from real joy and happiness to anxiety and almost fear to be not ready for the big change.
We felt it was the right moment to leave Madrid, the city where we met and we were living, to move to my hometown in Italy, Venice.
Surrounded by boxes and bags in our Spanish flat when Edda completed all the medical checks and the prenatal course, the fateful moments was only few weeks away, we were finally ready to leave our “querida” Spain, ready to open a new chapter and dive into the Venetian sea.
Luna was born in Venice on the 31st of July 2010, and our life won’t be the same anymore…
