This is a personal project I started in the 2007, it’s about disabled people. This was a unique opportunity which gave me a new way of looking at life and a chance to discover a new part of myself and a new way of relating to people. It was a mindful dive into a reality unknown to me. While interest in this issue is increasing, there is still a part of society that doesn’t seem to consider these people's rights, their necessities and, above all, their abilities. In terms of humanity and feelings, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had: one year with my camera surrounded by people who have their own way of thinking, loving, speaking and looking at the world as a result of their different disabilities, either physical or mental. These pictures are just a personal reflection of what I felt while I was in contact with this extraordinary people, their families, and teachers during their daily lives.
