Where did the title of your project Fragile as Glass come from?

It actually comes from Yehor. In my first interview with him he said to me: "I feel unstable. Everything that is happening in the world now shows that the world is fragile as glass. And these days, while war is happening in my country, I feel fear of everything."

In keeping with Pride Month, I spoke with the wonderful Katja Kemnitz about my photo project "Fragile as Glass: LGBTQ+ people in the Russian invasion against Ukraine". You can read the interview about the situation of queer people in Ukraine in the current issue of Fotoforum. Thank you for giving so much space to this topic!
