用安贾·æ¶…得金豪斯自己的话来形容她对待新闻摄影的方式最合适不过：“我的工作只不过是用我的相机和真心来报道人民的英勇无畏。”

霍华德·G·å·´è²ç‰¹åŸºé‡‘会捐献一百万美元，创立了安贾·æ¶…得金豪斯英勇无畏摄影新闻奖(Anja Niedringhaus Courage in Photojournalism Award)，以纪念这位摄影师的一生与她的事业。安贾·æ¶…得金豪斯（1965-2014）是一位美联社摄影师，曾荣获普利策奖、国际女性媒体基金会(the International Women's Media Foundation)英勇无畏新闻奖。国际女性媒体基金会过“安贾·æ¶…得金豪斯英勇无畏摄影新闻奖” 来赞美像安贾一样的女摄影记者——她激励着我们用实际行动，更好地理解这个世界。这份英勇可通过不同的形式表现，并不仅限于进行战地和前线报道。往届获奖者包括：Heidi Levine, Adriane Ohanesian, Stephanie Sinclair, Andrea Bruceå’ŒEloisa Lopez。

英勇无畏摄影新闻奖的获奖者将获得两万美元的现金奖励，其作品也会在美国华盛顿特区展出。国际女性媒体基金会将在2020年3月1日前，接受英语、法语、西班牙语和中文的申请或第三方提名。请详细阅读所列资格标准和提名准则。参赛者不受国籍限制，但必须是全职女摄影记者。

  • Open only to individuals who are Visura Annual Members with an active Basic (Free of cost), Standard, PLUS, PRIME, or GUILD annual membership, have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of entry, and DO NOT reside where prohibited. 

  • Employees of FotoVisura Inc., The International Women Media Foundation, and related parties are ineligible.  Each nomination and application must include candidate information, work samples made up of a series of 12 photographs, and a candidate/nomination statement. The Contest begins ________, at 8:00:00 a.m. US Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on March 1, 2020, at 11:59:00 p.m. EDT. 

  • One entry/nomination allowed per person. This is a merit-based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the skill of entrant. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these official rules ("Official Rules"). By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules.
