koral carballo
Mar 25, 2019
Behind every river, every mountain, every portion of earth and fire are hidden the stories where the myths and the muses, the trades, the secrets, the memory that is written in oral history are built.
Isadora Romero (Ecuador), Juanita Escobar (Colombia), Koral Carballo (Mexico), Luján Agusti (Argentina), Mayra Da Silva (Uruguay) and Wara Vargas Lara (Bolivia) weave through their images the fundamental pieces of an indestructible network, Cooked with the attentive and respectful look of those who go into and inhabit the ground of their photographs, she travels and plays with what she sees and finds among the stones the details of an imaginary of her own that glimpses a symbolic universe as documentary as it is unreal.

Detrás de cada río, de cada montaña, de cada porción de tierra y fuego se ocultan las historias donde se construyen los mitos y las musas, los oficios, los secretos, la memoria que se escribe en la historia oral.
