Desde el año 2011 al 2013, miles de personas salieron a las calles de Chile para protestar contra el gobierno y el lucro que obtiene de las políticas educativas. Los profesores, estudiantes y sus padres exigieron cambios radicales, incluida una nueva constitución y una nueva estructura financiera para la educación superior, ya que la actual ha dejado a millones de estudiantes con una gran deuda bancaria.
Los manifestantes se reunieron en puntos icónicos de las ciudades, marchando por las avenidas principales y gritando consignas contra el sistema.
Las marchas generalmente terminaron con enfrentamientos entre civiles y la policía, quienes arrestan a los manifestantes e hicieron uso excesivo gas lacrimógeno y fuerza contra la multitud.
El 11 de agosto de 2011 se realizó una de las mayores protestas estudiantiles de la historia de Chile.

From 2011 to 2013, thousands of people headed to the streets of Chile to protest against the government and the profit that the government obtains from
educational policies .Teachers, students and their parents
demanded radical changes, including a new constitution and a new financial structure for higher education, since the
current has left millions of students with a large banking debt. Protesters gathered at iconic points in the cities,
marching along trough main avenues and shouting slogans against the system.
The marches generally ended with clashes between civilians
and the police, who arrested the protesters and made Excessive use of tear gas and extreme force against the crowd.
On August 11, 2011 was held one of the biggest students protests
of the history of Chile.

Since 2011 Chile has been the stage of multiple social manifestations, mainly from the students, who claim for urgent improvements in the chilean education. Two years had pass and Sebastian Piñera's government hasn't been able to manage the conflict: the protests don't stop, neither the social discontent. The strong represion from the police has been marked by violent and permanent use of tear gas bombs, transforming the streets of Santiago in a big toxic winter.
