All the boys sleep in the same room in the Safe House and so are the girls. Each kid has a bed and knows well where his clothes, stationeries and belongings are stored in the Safe House.

Julia, a complete orphan whom was raised by Mama Jane since she was a young girl. Julia today is going into her third year of university. By 2021 she'll be the first person to graduate from Loving Hands Safe House.

Rachel, a beautiful and smart girl. She's very loving and caring. She always looks after the younger kids at the home. She's also loves dancing whenever she hears some beats.

Kevin, is HIV+ and he is a resc...nally feeling safe at the home.

Kevin, is HIV+ and he is a rescued boy from an abusive father who caused him a permanent injury in his leg. Kevin grew into a healthy, beautiful and kind boy, he's finally feeling safe at the home.

Mama Jane, the founder of Loving Hands Safe House. A women with a heart of gold who's been looking after abandoned and orphaned children for many years. She's always after the most vulnerale ones, everyone in Gilgil knows of her and her angelic work. She is a true mother to everyone that meets her.

This story opens a small window for the faces and tales of these heroes who you will not meet elsewhere. The pictures attempt to show how the children are lost, displaced, without parents and abandoned. And then how destiny may smile to them when they are found by tender care givers, are treated from their AIDs, and given a chance of education and life. In a remote village in Nakuru, in Gilgil, Kenya - Mama Jane founded a safe house. A place where abandoned, sick and traumatised children were revived. Although every child carries a physical or emotional scar, the place is happy. It is vivacious, warm, and loving. , all the children go to private schools and receive efficient medications for their AIDs. The children’s eyes tells a story, a story of a trauma and a story of hope and love to life.
