Project Brief
"Conserving the Past, Protecting the Future: The UAE's Living Legacy" is a visionary project that beautifully encapsulates the essence of preserving cultural heritage and fostering sustainability. Camels, horses, and falcons, deeply intertwined with the UAE's identity, are more than just symbols; they are economic engines, cultural treasures, and ecological keystones. This project's multifaceted approach, which integrates education, responsible tourism, and conservation, highlights the symbiotic relationship between tradition and sustainability. By nurturing this harmonious coexistence, it not only celebrates the nation's rich heritage but also paves the way for an environmentally conscious and prosperous future where the legacy of these iconic animals remains intact for generations to come.
Artist Statements : As a photographer deeply engaged in the "Conserving the Past, Protecting the Future: UAE's Living Legacy" project, I find immense inspiration in its visionary pursuit of preserving cultural heritage while promoting sustainability. Camels, horses, and falcons, deeply embedded in the UAE's identity, transcend symbolism to embody economic prosperity, cultural richness, and ecological harmony. My photographic journey within this project is a testament to the profound interplay between tradition and sustainability, where each image I capture serves as a portal into this delicate balance.
