Uganda, like many other countries in Africa, is experiencing the adverse effects of climate change, particularly in terms of human mobility and migration. Lake Victoria has seen its water levels rise, leading to the displacement of communities living along its shores. Landslides, triggered by heavy rains caused by climate change, have also forced people to leave their homes and seek safer areas.
