Mina Sorvino

I am a photographer from Kyiv, working in experimental photographs of artistic portraits and documentary films, as well as in the field of Fashion and Fine Art. My works can found in such publications as Vogue Ua, Elle Ua, Harpers Bazaar, Photo Vogue Italia and National Geographic etc... I worked in a large film company in the top management segment and managed a major production before my passion for photography discovered in 2009, after which, in 2010, the first exhibition of my works called “Away” held.  The critics called me the queen of the dark photo, but there is no darkness in my works.   My work is about strength and simultaneous vulnerability, about sensuality and many facets in any manifestation of life, about simplicity in complex and vice versa. My vision of female beauty is very subtle, and the feeling of beauty - on the verge, for which you want to look. My shoots fairy tales in real life helps my muses, who are very far from professional models, to see yourself through the eyes of the photographer, belief in its attractiveness and feature, uniqueness and hidden potential.
