Andrea Selene, (b. in San Salvador, El Salvador 1993).Visual storyteller that explores migration issues from personal experience, transnationalism and intra-family violence. She received the recognition for the best portfolio in the portfolio review carried out during the international festival "Mirar Distinto” in Xalapa, Veracruz, México (2018) with the project “There is no place that feels home”. TrasluzPhoto collective member, there she found a place to talk about her own reality. She currently works for the local newspaper AM de Querétaro in Santiago de Querétaro, where she lives.

She is Graduated from a Higher Technician in Photography at the Universidad Veracruzana (2016), study a Documentary Photo Lab by TRASLUZ PHOTO Collective (2016). Diploma in Professional Updating in Photography: carrying out photographic projects. By the National Institute of Fine Arts from México -INBA. (2016). Documentary Language and Personal Projects taught by Maya Goded (2018). 20 photographers Camp Guatemala. (2019) Anacronismos de la imagen contemporanea” Workshop taught by  Roberto Tondopó.
