Some years ago, when I was studying Fine Arts I doubted about what I was really learning, composition, painting, drawing..? What I was sure it's that I was learning how to look. The most important lesson I can take for granted from all those years is that I have learnt to find the beauty in the common items.
I was learning from different arts movements that the art itself could be anywhere and nowhere.
Maybe because a painter can not avoid to see like a painter, maybe because that way of looking remains inside forever. The truth is I often bump into textures, brushstrokes or precarious attempt to restoration that create a fabulous compositions.
In this Project I present the abstract art among us. The one we pass by without realizing, just because it’s not framed. My “Abstractrocitos” are small pieces of Street art that painters, “vandals” or specially the time, were building without any knowledge of draw, texture or composition and what I try to endowed with an intention.
