New York’s statewide stay-at-home order went to effect at 8 p.m. on Mar. 22, 2020 by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The order limits outdoor activity to the essentials like grocery shopping and getting medication. “This is the most drastic action we can take,” Gov. Cuomo said.
