Garandiya a small community in Takai Local government area of Kano state is in dire need of clean water, even after the community was listed as a beneficiary of EU/ Kano state counterpart funding of over NGN 3 billion for the construction & rehabilitation of water and sanitation facilities.

Murja Bello, a 17 years old female (like many other inhabitants of the community), needs water to carry out her farming business and day to day activity; this issue has invariably affected her Education, health and overall wellbeing.

This story illustrates her realities and her daily struggle to access usable water.
