Departure is a photo series of moments- the life that took place in the folds of daily moments since 1898 at one of the oldest railway stations in the city. This station is where time stands still but also moves quickly. As if people are never arriving, instead always leaving for the next destination. It symbolizes life, where one is always transitioning and departing for the next phase. These images are the nuances, observations, and projections of the ordinary in a tiny space of time. With this continuous departure, I sit still- watching, learning, understanding, and transitioning.
