I am a photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland whose work ranges from exploring communities and children’s worlds through to projects on the individual and society. Bridging the psychological and the social, projects explore the intricacies and complexities of people’s lives with a particular emphasis on place and belonging.
Work has been exhibited widely and recognised in awards including the Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award and the Sony World Photography Awards. Recent exhibitions include the long-term work ‘An Ordinary Eden’ on housing, home and belonging. Clients include Shelter, the Guardian, and the New Statesman. Works are held in various collections including at the National Galleries of Scotland.
