The Museum für Gestaltung, Museum für Design Zürich has its second location, the Toni-Areal, in the dynamic trendy neighbourhood of Zurich-West. The former largest yoghurt factory in Europe is also the campus of the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK. The Toni-Areal is home to the museum's collection archive. The shown facade becomes a canvas of reflections, capturing the dynamic interplay of light and urban landscape. Like a kaleidoscope, its surface fractures and redefines the surrounding architecture, lending a fluid, dreamlike quality to the solid constructs of the Toni-Areal. It is an ever-changing visual dialogue between art and the city it inhabits, blurring the lines between the tangible and the reflected, the designed and the perceived.
