Hi there! I'm Kaito Au, a Boston University journalist specializing in visual storytelling. I'm currently majoring in International Relations with a regional focus on the Africa and the Middle East. I'm also minoring in journalism, which is my intended career path upon graduation.
I photograph news for The Daily Free Press, Boston University's student newspaper. I have also had work published in the Boston Globe.
My areas of interest include news, arts, culture and social/humanitarian issues. As a half-Japanese, half-Chinese person who was born and raised in Hong Kong, I offer a unique international perspective. I intend to someday create work in the MENA region, and therefore my International Relations degree will help to facilitate my work there.
