Nine years ago I began documenting the exodus of people who have had to flee their places of origin due to conflict, persecution, famine or climate change. All these reasons forced them to flee their countries. No one puts their lives or their children's lives at risk during a journey that often lasts for years if not for a good reason.

This has led me to document their journeys from places like Greece, Jordan, Tunisia, the central Mediterranean or from my own home, in Basque Country, as a place of transit to a better future in the center of Europe.

This is a small sample of this work.
