San Sebastian, Basque Country (1978) is a photojournalist and filmmaker. He has worked as a freelance photo and video journalist collaborating with different international media and agencies, focusing his objective on social struggles, respect for human rights and migration, which has led him to work in countries such as Jordan, Sahara, Greece, Ukraine or the Central Mediterranean among others. He has published his work in media such as The Guardian, El Pais, NBC, Euronews or Vice News among others. He has directed several short films and in 2021 he released "Aita Mari", his first feature-length documentary, a work of more than 3 years following an old Cantabrian tuna boat converted into a rescue ship to carry out humanitarian work in the Central Mediterranean.
