George Whit Frey

George Whit Frey is an American visual journalist & fine art photographer with close to a decade of photography and videography experience. Falling in love with both mediums after a childhood trip to San Francisco. Today, Frey is a working freelance visual journalist who, over the years, has lived in Vermont, Oregon, Missouri, New York City, Singapore, and now Philadelphia. Frey's lens is often drawn to bustling metropolitan environments, with architecture and street photography being of great interest to him. What fascinates him the most, however, is people. The diversity of humanity is what he enjoys photographing the most. Frey's work is both journalistic and artistic and relies on a firm belief that the ethics of photojournalism and the compelling imagery of art photography can coexist.
