End of caliphate ( Le Monde)
Ce reportage a été réalisé entre novembre 2018 et mars 2019 dans le Nord Syrien. (Raqqa, à Baghouz et dans le camp d’Al Hawl) L’état islamique n’est plus, ou plutôt, n’a plus de territoire terrestre. Le dernier bastion a été repris par les FDS ( forces démocratiques syriennes) avec l’aide de la coalition internationale fin mars 2019 après d’intenses combats.
Parmi les principales victimes de ce conflit : les enfants, ils sont des milliers à vivre dans les ruines ou à s’entasser dans les camps, dans une extrême précarité : Au delà du traumatisme psychologique, ces enfants souffrent aussi de malnutrition, maladies, blessures de guerre. Ils seraient plus de 2500 enfants étrangers, de 30 pays différents à survivre dans 3 camps du nord syrien. Les Etats peinent à trouver une solution pour eux.
