Cameron is currently a Photo Editor at National Geographic.

Previously, she was the Programs Manager and Platform Curator at Visura. Working across the Content, Editorial & Curatorial Departments, Cameron served as program manager for key strategic partnerships and platform curator of Visura’s News Blog and Marketplace. She also oversaw and managed the Visura Speaker Series. Working closely with Visura CEO and co-founder, Adriana Teresa Letorney, Cameron advanced all efforts related to community building, networking, and the visual marketplace.      

In 2021, Cameron was awarded a Director’s Fellowship to study Documentary and Visual Journalism at the International Center of Photography, where she focused on the intersection of visual storytelling, climate change, and community. Prior to ICP, Cameron worked as a multimedia producer for the Coastal Resilience Lab at FAU’s Center for Environmental Studies, where she led the development of their multimedia content strategy and science communication. She launched their documentary podcast series Home and High Water, designed and facilitated a community photography workshop on climate change, and coordinated their social media and newsletter content. Cameron graduated from Kenyon College with a BA in English and a minor in studio arts.
