My Two Hands, a series of self portraits taken when my first child was a toddler, captures the manic moments of motherhood and the comical exasperation of trying to keep pace with a child beginning to develop a sense of self.

Looking back, what stands out to me is how strong and fragile one can be at the same time at all times. Tears of joy and pain mixed together. - 2. Motherhood is the deepest journey to yourself. As others, with trials and tribulations, elation and disappointment - sometimes in the same moment. And it is the most beautiful journey I have ever been on. - 3. What does motherhood mean to you?
Motherhood means different things at different times. It is not just being equipped with the right anatomical equipment, think of education, act discipline, but it is about a deep rooted love for life in all its forms. Motherhood is working on your todays for their tomorrows.
