In 2008 some volunteers started the recovery of the only habitat garden on the Hudson River shore in Manhattan, between 26th and 29th Street.  The garden's mission is not only about serving our natural environment, but also involves an educational approach.

To garden a habitat can be about discovering treasures, and learning from them.
