Aliza has been working in Africa on various HIV and AIDS prevention projects since 2007. Her work has taken her to South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana and Kenya, enabling her to pursue her mission to document the true beauty of Africa and its diverse cultures through photography. Her photos have been published in Equal Treatment Magazine, a publication of the Treatment Action Campaign in South Africa, dedicated to covering health and HIV matters. She has presented her photos in fundraising events in Boston and to the African Studies Department at Boston University. Her most recent project, "There is a World Cup in my Village," documented her work with the Society Empowerment Project in Oyugis, Kenya promoting Female Empowerment Through Football.
