About
Adekuoroye Tolu is a documentary and photographer based in Ibadan, Nigeria. She focuses on the common man revealing their interests, personality and happenings around their lives that is often neglected, thus revealing that every man is more than what meets the eyes. She was also the official photographer of the Africa Movie Academy Awards 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda.
Her project “Reveal”, which seeks to show the stress women go through to make our home a comfortable place to stay while they try to make little cash by the side was exhibited at the “Unstill life “ exhibition of Photo, Kathmandu, South Africa in 2018.
She exhibited her Project “Imo-Ero”, a project that addresses the reality of the addiction to technology and the damage it brings to our world today at the Lagos Photo Festival in Lagos, Nigeria in 2019.
Her work “Expedition” was published on the World press photo platform in 2021.
