She uses her craft to mainly highlight pro-human development stories such as maternal health care. She is keen on covering stories where women and girls are portrayed beyond the limitations of stereotypes.
Ms Abdul’s favourite photos are those that portray her collaborators’ humanity through resilience and dignity. She believes this is important in improving how we tell stories about Africa and Africans.
