Tadej Znidarcic is a photographer born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he received a university degree in physics. He is a graduate of the International Center of Photography in New York City. In addition to being a photographer, Tadej is also a writer, videographer and teacher.

Tadej has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, and USA photographing feature stories for magazines, NGO projects and personal work. He has photographed elderly care in USA, lead poisoning in camps for internally displaced people in Kosovo, schools on boats in Bangladesh, and worked with various nonprofit organizations in the field of health, education, human rights and agriculture (UNICEF, UNFPA, UNAIDS, BRAC, Rotary International, Women for Women International, The Global Fund for Children, CARE, AMREF, YBI, Malaria Consortium, Horizont3000, CBM).

Tadej has published in magazines, newspapers, and other publications in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Stern, Focus, Financial Times Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Economist, International Herald Tribune, The Times, The Independent on Sunday, Le Monde, D Magazine, FAZ, Die Zeit, The Observer, IL Magazine, The Africa Report, Io Donna, and National Geographic Slovenia. His work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions in Europe and the United States, among others Moving Walls in New York City. In 2014, Tadej was selected Photographer of the Year in Slovenia.
