Madison
Beginning in February 2011, the people of Wisconsin began to protest the Wisconsin Budget Repair Bill proposed by the Wisconsin legislature and supported by the Governor Walker. In March 2011, I drove up to Madison to experience the ill-fated protests and demonstrations myself. The Bill which stripped workers of their collective bargaining rights was ultimately upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court and further effort to recall Governor Walker also failed.
