About
I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and later lived in California and New Mexico where I worked as an aerospace engineer. I eventually returned to rural Pennsylvania where I am working on documentary projects involving the changes in rural life here. Additional photographic projects include rescued animals living at sanctuaries, the evolving Amish community around my hometown, preserved slave cabins throughout the country, and the fragile state of old-growth American forests.
Much of my work is done using large and ultra-large format film cameras and traditional darkroom techniques.
