Born in Naples in 1969, Giampiero Assumma works as an indipendent photographer, focusing mainly on reportage.
In recent years, he dedicated himself to several personal long term projects about social issues such as religion, mental desease and the relationship between man and environment.
He lives and works in Berlin.
