Alex Scott is a documentary photographer and editor based in Austin, Texas always looking to collaborate on projects.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Texas, researching processes of interpretation and meaning construction in still images. He previously worked as a photo editor for Bloomberg News and is a faculty member of the International Center of Photography. He previously held editing positions at ABC News, the New York Post and the Columbia Missourian. He was a Magnum Foundation fellow in 2015 while he completed his Master's Degree from the University of Missouri. He attended the Eddie Adams Workshop XXIX, MPW 68 and 4th annual New York Portfolio review in 2016. Photographs have been published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg News, ABC News, Texas Observer, The Denver Post, Columbia Missourian, Cycle Source Magazine, Dallas Observer and others.
