As I explored both Madrid and Sevilla, I had the chance to photograph the urban environments and visual narrative of the cities. While Madrid offers hard, modern lines and skyscrapers, Sevilla's rich past comes through as witnessed by cobblestone streets and ornate palaces. I only had a few days in Spain, but I am looking forward to going back next year for an extended trip to these same cities, and even others including Córdoba and Granada. My hope is to share both the culture and nuance of the country, and I consider these photos only the beginning of a longer visual narrative that I will continue in the future. ¡Viva España!
