When it comes to wildlife, Kenya is almost incapable of disappointing. Elephants, big cats, birds, a variety of antelope and other herding animals " every moment is an assault on the senses. At the end of our second day we said that if our trip ended that day we would have been satisfied based on everything we'd seen. I was there for two weeks in Mara North Conservancy (much less crowded than the national park), the area around the Chuyulu Hills, the Lekurruki Conservancy, and the Laikipia Plateau.

Each offered its own set surprises.
