A wild boa does not question itself. It is an animal. Its existence is of the flesh-hunger and finding food, mating for offspring- the bare necessities. Just enough to survive.

But survival for human beings is different, They want to explore the self.

But survival for human beings is different, They want to explore the self.

Not all human beings, but some, or most.

Like poets.

They want to know and learn about the self, their surroundings and the society.

They want to understand matter, and the skies.

They have inner will, inner power, and intellect.

Is it so simple to understand the human being?

To find meaning?

You intend to sum up the existence and intricate details of human beings so easily, and get an

All rounded answer, a generalized view?

Come O vulture, tear everything up into little pieces- my external life, eating sleeping, Livelihood, laughter and humour, love, desire, sin, professional role, mistakes…

Take all, tearing them into little pieces.

You think that’s how you will learn who I am? You think that’s how easy it is? Will these external bits give away everything?

Then tear up and take all these symbols, see if you can sum it up in entirety.

Take the words, take all the words.

You think they will reveal the poet to you, or the essence of poetry?!
