My name is Lenka Hoffmannova and I live in Šumperk, the Czech Republic. I was born in industrial town Ostrava in northern Moravia. My grandfather was the master in a coalmine.
My father was a turner in the development department of Vitkovice steel factory and mother a nurse. I have an older brother and a sister. I spent my summer holidays at my father´s aunt and uncle in Szentes, Hungary.
I finished the secondary school in Havířov and then chemistry at university in Prague. I worked in the paper factory and after 1989 in foreign trade departments in various companies. Then I was a teacher at secondary school.
I participated at volunteer programes on European Maccabi Games in Vienna and Berlin in 2011 and 2015 and in Sar-El programe in Israeli army in 2011.
I was chosen as one of four field photographs for the European Maccabi Games in Berlin 2015.
I can speak English, Czech, Hungarian, Russian and Hebrew. I like taking photos of travelling, fashion, art, people and various events.
