In addition to natural mines: gold, lapis lazuli, emerald, copper, iron, coal, cement and marble, Afghanistan has very famous grapes, the most famous grape of Afghanistan is from Herat province, called Lal grape.
And the second province that has the tastiest figs in this country is Faryab province of Qaisar district. Grape products and vineyards are very abundant in Herat and Faryab provinces.
According to official statistics, in 2019, the production of grapes throughout Afghanistan was one million, one hundred and twelve thousand, nine hundred and twenty seven metric tons, and in the same year, the vineyards in the country reached about 78,539 hectares.
And what needs to be mentioned here is that Qaisar district of Faryab province is the largest producer of raisins, Unfortunately, this raisin went to Pakistan, and from there it is sold to other countries as Pakistani raisin.
Most of the fresh and dry fruits of Afghanistan are sold in the name of other countries due to the weakness of farmers and gardeners in the development of trade.
But in the last two years, apart from the weakness of gardeners and farmers in business, the problems of drought have caused great damage to the agricultural products and agricultural lands of this country.
