epli is a photographer who studies human connection.
A true-blue tomboy and a multiracial queer person, she identifies as a woman who is most at home in a body without breasts. Her documentary work researches the intersections of race, gentrification, reproductive health, gender, sex work, and the definition of family.
epli studied photography at Guilford College and documentary photography at The SALT Institute for Documentary Studies. She has a thriving family photography business in the San Francisco Bay Area and is lead photographer at Living in the Light, a patient advocacy initiative for people living with rare diseases.
She meets each project with humility, commitment, and fire.
