Injured soldiers are evacuated from the battlefield to nearby stabilization points or stabiks. The stabik outside of Bakhmut is under fire nonstop. The wounded are usually brought under darkness. The team fights boredom but is then suddenly hit with an influx of wounded. They hear the sound of vehicles, put down their phones or their spoons and quickly snap on surgical gloves. The wounded arrive and the vehicles are hidden from russian drones. The goal is to stabilize the patients, manage their pain, and make a report for the doctors at the next hospital. Another team appears and swiftly evacuates the injured to the next hospital. Blood is mopped up, cigarettes are smoked, and the team returns to their previous activities. The cycle repeats itself. At the same time, "normal" life exists: ladies receive flowers for Women's Day, volunteers visit , and someone blows out the candles on a birthday cake.
