KC Nwakalor (b.1991) is an International documentary photographer based in Abuja, Nigeria. He studied Photojournalism at New York Institute of Photography (NYIP), USA. KC is a professional member of African Photojournalism Database (APJD) a joint project by World Press Photo Foundation and Everyday Africa.
He is also a contributor at Unabashed Africa and has had some of his works featured on EverydayEverywhere's top weekly picks. He currently works with Connected Development (CODE) as a Photographer consultant, documenting and telling stories of people in marginalized rural communities across Nigeria and Africa.
He has been commissioned by notable organizations like Bloomberg, IPAS, USAID, Amnesty International, Marie Stopes, Connected Development, among others.
He focuses on social, economic, political and environmental issues.
