Mundialito Porvenir
The Mundialito de El Porvenir, sometimes referred to as the Mundialito de La Victoria, is a street soccer tournament organized annually in the Lima district of La Victoria. The championship was born after enthusiasm for the 1950 soccer World Cup inspired the Victorians Emilio Chávez (Cheme), Mario Chávez and Jorge Falla Martínez who decided to organize a soccer championship in the streets of the 6th block of the Parinacochas extension. In the first tournament 8 teams participated, Jorge Falla was the referee of the final, and Defender Leoncio Prado was the winner. The champion on that occasion took the ball with which the championship was played as a prize. These photos are from the 2018 championship.
